Hello Again. After uninstalling anything and everything to do with the Retevis RT3s radio on my Windoze 10 computer, I recently downloaded the Retevis CPSRT3s version 2.41 software, installed it and everything works! I plug the radio in, turn it on and the software can access it. I'm going to tell myself that they got a programmer from the 80s to write the new version and that's why it works.  :)
Now, does anybody know what settings (codeplug, talkgroup, color code bla bla bla) I need to access the UHF digital repeater on 438.900Mhz or is the RT3s unable to utilize this repeater due to incompatible digital mode?

I am still unable to get the Retevis RT3s radio to show up on any computer. I get 'STM Device in DFU mode' showing under USB controllers in Device manager. I need to see a serial port. I try as admin as well as standard user to no avail. Trying to update drivers doesn't help. Tried with Windows 10 and Windows 7 computers.

Must of missed this one down the pipeline not to necro a thread did you find an answer?

Hi. Anybody using the RT3s programming software with Windows 7 (32bit). I have been trying to get the programming cable recognized as a com port but no success. Tried all the drivers under the sun. My standard USB to RS232 cable works just fine but that's no help to me.
