The next GODS day will be held on the 25 August 2024 at W.M.Hunt Recreational Park, one for the boys down south.

More information will be posted as the day draws near. Start time 9am as usual but feel free to arrive early.

The next GODS day (Picnic at the Park) will be held on the Sunday 25 August 2024 at W.M.Hunt Recreational Park, one for the boys down south.
Start time 9am as usual but feel free to arrive early.
Email VK5MCH with your intention to attend for catering purposes.
At this point in time we are looking at sausages in hotdog roll with sauce and mustard etc.
The cost will be $6 per head. with tea and coffee provided.
We are asking you to bring a  HF radio and antenna. For the test of your gear we will allocate 2 bands and 15 minutes per band to log as many contacts as possible. There will be a prize for the most contacts.
If you don't want to compete, come along for the social interaction, we are happy to chin wag. A great way for some of our newly qualified amateurs to see portable antennas. There will be a couple of radios for people to try their hand. So come along😊
