Using the HP hot swap power supplies to build 13.8VDC supplies

I decided build a decent power supply using the HP Hot Swap power supplies.

I had the case Laser cut. It is made from 3mm aluminium plate and held together using 10mm square aluminium bar. The beauty of the full CNC case is everything lines up.

I have made 3 of these now, 1 at 100 amps and 2 at 200 amps.

Modification to the HP supplies was fairly straightforward. All you need is a good set of eyes, a decent soldering iron capable of SMD and a very steady set of hands.
