Hi all,

As some of you know, I have a presentation on optical communications I gave at a WIA AGM Conference a few years ago. It covers some history of amateur optical comms, propagation, modulation systems and circuits along with a look at some of my projects.

The presentation, with me adding a few stories, takes about 60 minutes maybe more depending on how verbose I am! I am happy to give this presentation at interested clubs. The NERC have already had one. Anyone interested please leave a message here or email me at tim@vk5zt.com

For more remote clubs, I am happy to try a Zoom or Teams show or even a stream to Youtube or Twitch.

I think we all enjoyed the talk Tim. I was surprised at the distances you guys were getting and what the world records were for voice over light.

If you have some simple circuits for transmitters and receivers please post them up.
