AREG Monthly Car-Based Foxhunts

AREG runs car-based fox-hunts on the second Friday evening of each month, starting at 6:30 PM.
We generally start these from the Adelaide Aquatic Centre carpark in North Adelaide, with foxes hidden within a ~5km radius of the start location.

The next hunt will be on Friday the 8th of September.

We are also looking into some alternate start locations to mix things up a bit for future hunts

The fox transmitters are the following:
- 145.3 MHz - FM, 1W TX power
- 144.390 MHz - Pulsed CW, 100mW TX power
- 439.4 MHz - Pulsed CW, 25mW TX power

We chat on the VK5RSB 70cm repeater (439.900 MHz, -5 MHz offset, 91.5 Hz PL) before and during the hunt to check in on all the hunters and coordinate who will be picking up the foxes at the end of each night.
